The Severna Park Kiwanis club does great work to give back to our community all year long.
Here is a list of some of the activities we sponsor:
Teenager of the Year / Scholarship Progragms - Finalists are selected from local High Schools based upon grades, outstanding community service activities, and need with more than $3,000 in scholarships given out per year
Teen Leader Program - The SP Kiwanis club sponsored 3 teens in attending service and leadership conferences/ retreats in the Central Maryland area.
Baskets for SPAN - Kiwanis have assembled baskets for families in-need during the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter holidays

Backpacks through Anne Arundel County- We are matched up with 15 local students, then we buy and stuff the backpacks with supplies and drop them off to the schools.
Teen Court - Members give their time to guide youth through the justice process in a program run by teens for teens
Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland - The club provides nutritious meals to individuals who are homebound due to age or disability
Partners in Care - Members have teamed up with a local program to provide supportive services to help older adults remain independent in their own homes.
Salvation Army Fundraising - The club teamed up with the Salvation Army by ringing bells outside of Giant Foods to raise $1,200+ for local families in need
